In February 2011 we brewed our first Weizenbier, or German style wheat beer, with our friend Markus Lotz from the Brauerei Niddaer Marktbräu near Frankfurt. Using the traditional four step mash technique we have produced a Weissbier with the characteristic flavours of cloves and bananas.
